OK, thanks. Most Ford part numbers I've seen are stamped into the part, not printed, so it threw me off. I know the guides and tensioners that I took out were not Ford pieces. Neither are the VCT...

Do these phasers look like OEM pieces to you? They have Ford part numbers, but they look a bit "cheap" to me.

Spent my weekend doing timing chains on my neighbors 04 F150 with the 3V 5.4 in it. Really hope he was right in that it ran fine - just made noise, because I left the timing right where it was.

Yes it was. I was outside all day doing timing chains on my neighbors F150 too. I couldn't feel my fingers.... can't believe the weird weather this year.

Aren't you running a speedometer correction module? Have you tried taking that out and see if that is the issue?

Most audio shops install that stuff. Price would be relative to what kit you've got, complexity of the install, shop rates, etc. Difficult to guesstimate that.
