The Gt is finally home again

Now its time for some Heart surgery

New Flywheel

i have 2 questions while its out

1: should i change the clutch while its out? Doesn't look to bad but id like another opinion

2: should i change the rack n pinion?

as you can see its very oily and was told by emissions place my inner tie rod is loose or might be going bad

Looks good Juan! I would definitely put a new clutch in it, even if it only had 1000 miles. Once they are seated to one another (disc and flywheel) you will probably get a chatter if you separate the match. The rack, I wouldn't worry too much about. It's not that hard to replace with the motor in there. However, that rack you got from me should go in there fine, unless the 02 threads are metric.

thanks shane, if you have any recommendations for the clutch kit for 200 or less let me know.
as for the rack i was going to say the threads are different but they are the same because i was going to use the rack on the 66 with 97 power steering lines.

i was going to buy an o/r h pipe earlier today but thought it would be best to just wait and its a good thing i did lol

In that price range, Luk is probably the best. I thought your GT already had an o/r pipe? Lol.
