Chips and new exhaust

I just bought a F250 with the 6.7 diesel. It has a chip in it and bigger exhaust runs real good. My question is this vehicle still under warranty from ford. I had a problem on a 2004 with the 6.0 motor and they canceled my ford warranty with only 20 thousand miles. I am a little gun shy on this issue. If any body can give me some input,I would appreciate it.

The truck is a 2014 F250 with a 6.7 diesel with 25256 miles. I found what the tuner is and also the big exhaust is. The tuner is SCT LIVEWIRE TS+, the new exhaust is FLO PRO. Thanks I hope you can be of some help to me.

Since you got burnt before, I would remove the chip or tuning device and drive it stock until your warranty runs out. Over the last 10 years or so, Ford has gotten real sticky when it comes to tuned diesels. Even before they had the ability to read your computer and know if it was tuned or not, they could pull a head and look at the piston tops. Over fueling a diesel would leave telltale marks on the piston and they would void your warranty if they found it. If you don't have the device to return it back to stock, take it to the dealer and tell them the truth, you bought it that way and you don't the device to put it back to stock but your afraid if you leave it alone you'll lose your warranty. They can put it back to stock for a fee, but it will be thousands cheaper than a blown engine if they catch you.

Unfortunately, I think that once that SCT tuner was installed, it's branded. Take a look at this information, and it will further explain my thoughts.
