2005 Ford Ranger

Hi,

I was just wondering if the Asian and North American Rangers have the same headlights. There was a pair of headlights on Carid that my cousin from the Philippines wanted to purchase but he wasn't sure if it would fit.

I see they look different as the North American version has 2 lights while the Asian version has only one but I think it could fit.

What do you guys think?

To me they look taller than the US truck. Is that trim piece under the headlight removable? It almost seems like it might fit in that space.

The trim you see is actually from inside the headlight. Here is a closer look. I do feel it's taller than the North American version too but I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.

Yeah... I really wanted them but then I was looking around some more and realized that the asian ranger is based on a mazda b-series which I think makes the headlights incompatible.... I think.

I really want it though...

Unfortunately, in Asia, the ranger is based on the mazda b-series. The picture I posted of the headlight assembly I wanted is for the North American ranger (found it in Carid).

I would have wanted it to fit the Asian ranger but alas... I don't think it will unless I put a reasonable amount of customizing.
