I have Monroe Sensa-Trac struts. They make a thud on the harder bumps. Been considering changing to KYB.

Depending on how many miles you put on it, in my experience shocks only last about a year anyways. But then again, I do put a lot of miles on. They should have a warranty, I'd at least swap them out. But in the end, like Shane said, you might not be satisfied with them and switch...

Also, Rock Auto sells Motorcraft shocks for most Ford's. If you just want to return to the factory feel, it's a viable option.

I lied. My struts are Monroe Formula GP's rather than Sensa-Trac's.

All four of my rear shocks are still factory factory. The damn quad shocks are expensive sometimes.

Check the bushings on all the shocks on the rear, also, check the body of the shocks, they may be rattling...

Wasn't there something with the IRS having a bolt that either needed to be changed or torqued tighter? All I remember is you had to remove the exhaust to do it an it would cause a thinking or rattling.
Wish I could remember more, but a lot of people were thinking it was the shock till this cure was found.

Monroe's have a lifetime warranty. I'd get you some new ones.
