Angry Frozen door locks

Anyone else have frozen door locks? This is the third time it has happened to me. Cannot open the doors either with the key or manually - the first time it happened I had to climb in the passenger door. Should I buy deicer - will it damage the paint? I'm working from home today because I can't get into the car. We had a lot of heavy rain last night. Thanks!

You can always heat the key up a bit with a lighter, that works great. At work, we always spray the locks with penetrating oil (CRC 3-36 works great) before winter and it works really well. Just be quick about wiping it off your paint.

CRC 3-36 Multi-Purpose Lubricant and Corrosion Inhibitor, 11 oz Aerosol Can, Clear/Blue/Green: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific CRC 3-36 Multi-Purpose Lubricant and Corrosion Inhibitor, 11 oz Aerosol Can, Clear/Blue/Green: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

Bowman 7-77 is also very good, but I heard it Bowman quit making it.

Yeah and the passenger window doesn't move either.

Have you tried any penetrating oil as suggested above?
