Hey autolite, do you know what happened to Shane (white 89 GT) or ranger SVT or any of the other regulars, they haven't posted since last May. Did they abandon this site or what?

nice. I had a 65 Mustang vert and a 70 Torino GT.vert . And my 98 is a vert.My 98 and the 2012 there is like no wind noise. When I was driving the 2012 I was stopped at a red light and a Ram diesel was behind me and I looked to see what window was down... There was none just kind of forgot it was a vert with no noise.while driving

Hey, what's up guys? Been down and out for a while. Had a couple surgeries, and been getting myself back to good. Went through and killed the spam. Tell me if you see any more.

Hey Shane, glad your feeling better. I thought you gave up on this site.

Tomorrow I will be back in the world of a stang owner.

Well, I got it. I already ordered a short throw shifter for it, and a sound tube delete kit to get rid of that fake engine sound piped into the interior.

I'm glad I jumped on this car when I had the chance. Ford is refreshing the mustang for 2018 and it's hideous. It looks like the bastard child of lexus and subaru. The rear wing is to high and on pedestals and the fog light openings look like a ricer. Also I found out that the grabber blue color that was brought back for 17 will be gone again for 18, so that makes it a 1 year only color on the S550's

Nice looking I like the new body style. I was out side today and though it looks warm the wind was chilly. Did you ride around with the top down? Tomorrow it suppose to be warmer.I know my brothers Focus 5 speed manual is so quite it could use that nice so you know what to do.

That is straight up sexy, Bleed! It really makes me want to drive mine. I haven't even started it for over a year. With my sciatic nerve issue last summer, there was no chance of pushing in a clutch. I hear the 2018 is getting somewhere around 30 more hp by going to direct injection.

Ford is not switching to direct injection, they are adding it. The 18 coyotes will have dual injection, traditional port and direct at the same time, just like the second gen 3.5 ecoboost. Ford cast the provisions for direct injection in to the coyote heads from the beginning, it just took them 7 years to utilize it.

30 more hp would be nice but I can already get sideways grabbing second gear with the stock 275/40/19's

You know thinking about it, the current 15+ second generation coyotes have the better flowing heads from the boss 302 and revised cams, hence the 15 hp jump from 14 to 15. Ford racing offers the GT350 intake with the bigger 87mm throttle body and a custom tune for them and LMR tested it and got 37 hp at the wheels with just that. https://youtu.be/ELe-7dtWp_8 Combine that with a set of long tube headers for another 20 at the wheel and you could be right around 500 at the crank with just those two mods. 57 at the wheels equates to 68-70 at the crank, and a 15+ is only 65 away from 500 to start with. Throw in a set of comp cams and a cold air intake and you could be in the 530-550 range N/A

Was at the dealer today with the wife while she was getting an oil change. They had 2 Focus RS's in the showroom, both in nitrous blue. The both stickered for 43K and change. Nice car, but 43K for a focus. Not gonna happen, I don't care if that they have 350 hp, awd, and a 6 speed manual, I'm not paying that much for a focus. They also had a used 2010 GT500 sitting there and it was grabber blue. From a distance the grabber blue and nitrous blue looked the same, but when you get up close the nitrous blue is metallic and the grabber is not.
