Strut replacement for a 2005

Im getting a little vibration coming through the steering wheel of my 2005 Escape. The mileage on it is northwards of 137K, which Im proud of. Ive been told I should probably look into replacing the struts on the front, first. Im also thinking about throwing some new tires on there. Because I commute back and forth to work on a daily basis, its important that I buy something that will last for a while but also wont break the bank. Im basically checking the go-to sites, like Rockauto. I even found this other websiteAPX. It seems like they specialize in suspension/ride control parts. Which is awesome if you ask me. Just take a quick look and tell me what you think. Or should I just keep looking?

I put Motorcraft struts on my Brother's 2005, and he loved them. His is a 3.0, and they were definitely bad. My 2006 with a 2.3 still has the originals on it though, and I've got 189,000 miles on it. I just did the end links, tie rods, pads, and rotors on it..... and it cured a clunk and vibration.

A vibration isn't going to be struts... maybe tires, bearings.....

Check to see if your wheels are balanced.
