Probably a 331. They seem to be more reliable than the 347.

I agree. I would run a mid 90s 351 w from a f150.

I'm wanting to stay 302 based, but I can be swayed. LOL. There are a lot more parts available for the 302 as far as EFI is concerned.

They do make a lot of 351w efi stuff, and you make more power for less money. Ford should have done that back in 89 when the first went mass air.

If I could find the stuff decently priced (i.e. GT40/Lightning style lower intake) I'd be all for it.

You could always pick up a used Trick Flow R upper and lower. It would work a lot better then the GT40.

For the first time in far too long, I actually have an update for The Eight Nine. A good friend of the family inherited a Mustang. My Dad told me he put new wheels and tries on it, and asked if I wanted the old wheels and tires. My Dad told me it was a 2004, but it has to be a 2005. Anyway, I got home from work and these were sitting behind The Eight Nine. These tires look nearly new!

They are BFG 215/65-16's

As you can see, the tread is awesome.

Still a mile away from the tread bar.

I gave the 5 lug front spindle a test fit, and they fit great.

Caliper clearance.

Yeah, them tires are probably a little tall for my car. It has 225/50-16's right now. Which are nearly new, I might add.
