LED reverse light

Hey,

Has anybody changed their reverse lights to LED? How do you get the tail light assembly out in order to do it? I took off the plastic bolt that was showing, but the housing wouldn't come off.

It’s a really PITA to do, but it can be done. You have to take off the cover of the handle and remove the 2 torx screws. Once they’re out, pull on the handle and the plastic interior should start to unclip. Then stick your arm into the opening and just start pushing the plastic away from the trunk. It’s all held in by clips, so just pull and it should all come off. Once you get the outermost portion off, don’t forget to unclip the button that closed the trunk.
