That one is actually a Delta. I went with Moen this time. That's also what I went with in my shower 4 years ago, and it's been great.

Obviously, we have very hard water here. It is approximately 80 percent well water in my area. We don't drink it.... lol.

Been thinking about doing RO. My Dad was telling me it strips too much out of the water though.

Sometimes I just sit in this thing and admire it. I love this old truck. Looking out this windshield and across this hood gives me great pleasure.

Question on PATS....

I've read on the interwebs that in 97 and 98 it doesn't matter what GEM and key is used. Is this true?

I had a really sad experience that has been weighing on my mind. On Thursday I said my last goodbye's to a very dear friend of mine. He flew back to Mexico this morning to die there. He was given 3 weeks to live last Monday. I've never met a harder worker in my life. I've had lots of funny and great experiences with him over the past 18 years. I am honored to have been able to teach him many things on machine operations. I just hope I've been able to properly convey to him just how much I appreciate our friendship.

Sorry to hear about your friend. My prayers go out to you and his family. My wife of 58 years passed on September 9th so I know your sadness.

I am very sorry to hear that. I can't imagine losing my Wife, although I almost have twice now. I hope your Wife didn't suffer at all. To me the hardest part is seeing a strong muscular guy turn into a shell. He's lost a lot of muscle mass and his hair is long gone.

Pinky(my wife) went very quickly and peacefully. She had been sickly for about two years. She was here one minute, gone ten minutes later. She wanted me to keep on doing my thing. So I am going to a Grief workshop once a month which has helped a lot. Doing Christmas parades and Car Club stuff, and learning how to adjust to my new normal. So tell your wife you love her often, hug and squeeze her every chance you get, and cherish every moment you have her. I miss the crap our of mine.

That is sad news on your friend and your wife. I hope the best for you and your family.I look at it when people pass their struggles here are done and they get the reward of going to heaven for there gift of being good people.I lost my Son in 07 he was 24. It helps me to think while short he had a great life.
