Roof Leak - 2010 SEL

So here we are in the middle of this really bad rain storm - estimated to dump a months worth of rain inside 24 hrs. I go out to my bull to find the headliner wet - passenger side around the front left corner of the sunroof and along the top of the A-Pillar-passenger side.

I check to make sure the sunroof was closed - check..check the door - closed tight as is the window.

Dry everything off and head back in the house - 4 hours later - head back out to check again...same freakin thing. I felt up under the headliner around the sunroof and it's dry even though the fabric is wet - any ideas suggestions? For tonight I threw a plastic tarp over the front of the roof to allow things to dry out on the overnight but need a solution - HELP!

Check that the drain for the sunroof isn't plugged and that the sunroof is seating correctly.
open it and make sure water isn;t just sitting in the channel, if it is the small drain is plugged or partially covered with debris. clean everything and close the sunroof to reseat it (if you had a leak you should have done this first thing, sometimes a small piece of debris in the seal can cause a leak and opening and closing will correct it).
if everything is good there its time to look at the top of your windshield for leaks in the seal. this is where my old tahoe decided to leak and required removing and resealing the windshield to correct. left to long rust will form and make repairs harder.
